Affyn - Buddy Arena

The very limited gameplay easily accessible was actually impressive with cute graphics. However after that 10 seconds of content, searching through their content and socials came up dry. What wasn’t dry was the subject of Token go up, it was everywhere with very limited discussion on the game itself. Gamers Galaxie are fans of games first, tokens not even second. So we will hold judgement until we see the game in full action. Good news is we wont have to wait long as global launch was yesterday. Downloading now!

Unreal Engine 5 Lyra style graphics but its not shooting guns. More a DND style party up RPG in a SciFi setting. Keep your eyes on this one as a playable Demo is just around the corner and we should learn more.

Quirky to say the least. Still trying to work this one out but it seems it is the first game to launch on zkEVM. Unique would be a way to describe from first impressions. Collectible yield farmer with more in depth strategy with a story is being built. 30 smart contracts are deployed to zkEVM atm in this fully on-chain yield farmer. Check it out if difference is your thing.

Highlight of the Week

It could only be one thing this week! Finally the long suffering of Guild of Guardians fans has an end date.

The game is set for a global launch on May 15th 2024

For those not following closely the game originally was an A-RPG action based game. After it was clear that this first iteration was a disaster Chris Clay was sent into clean house and fix the mess made by the original game director. They signed Mineloader to build the game and have pivoted to a more casual friendly rogue lite auto battler. From the very start of testing it is clear that this was the right decision.

Expect a fun narrative driven experience divided into solo player dungeon runs culminating in epic boss battles and guild play where you team up to take down behemoth bosses. Soon after release expect more content and more variety to game play. Amazing what the team has delivered for what has been cooking for just over a year.

What new games can I play?

1️⃣ Paradise Tycoon open beta - Get in there and playing now, cute multi game mode and base builder. Passport will be implemented. Let’s go!

2️⃣ BandZai - Yield farming game with Scholarships out now. 30 unique contracts are pinged with player action that incur zero gas fees for players. This will last until September so if you want to play a fully on chain game with zero gas. Now is the time! We think it is a first of its kind with zero gas fees in the world.

3️⃣ Storm Warfare - Play now however before the end of March the game will launch with full on chain features enabled. Keep your eyes peeled for the first full game to launch on zkEVM. They have even been added to the Passport playable games category recently.
