Wild West themed games lovers are in for a treat with Chalk River. Launching with an open world metaverse and 7 appropriately themed mini game modes that will put you in the typical genre scenarios like defending a town from out laws or the opposite and being an outlaw and taking on the town sheriff.

Keeping an eye on the landscape these next 4 games have not been announced officially just yet. We are aware that they have committed to building on Immutable recently and whilst verbal commitment are not concrete until otherwise shown officially we will include them in the new partnerships list.

Special Note: Pixelmon & especially Kevin needs no introduction. The project was acquired by LiquidX who are now building multiple games and experiences. This game IP is the story of the Phoenix rising!

A huge win for Immutable. Probably a top 3 game from a Web 3 community sentiment. Pixelmon is pioneering the concept of a fractionalized gaming IP, blending NFT technology with an immersive Pokémon-inspired virtual world.

SuperVerse
SuperVerse is being integrated into elite web3 games, creating a unified gaming network to help projects share users and liquidity.

Highlight of the Week

Immutable zkEVM mainnet beta is finally here!!! The early access is limited to only 8 games to deploy on mainnet with all their games releasing early access in the first half of 2024.

Robbie has been heard saying that they expect over 30 games to launch before July 2024. Still the news and comms around the release has been heavily developer partner focused. As seen in the release trailer.

What's Happening #onImmutable

1. Fenix Games disappears after legal dispute & settlement.

2. Toolkit is released which utilises some of Checkout’s capabilities to enable Dex like features for Immutable zkEVM and X! You can now:

   • Buy Tokens

   • Swap (temporarily unavailable)

   • Send between wallets

   • View Balances of your Tokens.

   

   These are widgets and can be installed into any platform. So anyone can customise the look and feel and put it in their personal website.

3. Kaidro internal testing happening with Alpha playtest to arrive soon.

4. Meta Toy Dragonz Saga - decided to build on Wemix instead of Immutable zkEVM. No reasons given yet but we suspect they need the infra now not later.

5. 50 VC funded games onboarded in previous 2 months! Bd team are on fire!

6. Momoguro is getting a TV show!

   I've been working on the Momoguro story with @baobabstudios for the past year and we just announced a TV show!

   From Roblox to an Emmy nomination and now a TV series, this has been a super exciting franchise to work on. Proud of the whole team.

Cross The Ages is still going ham. Constantly growing its user base, approaching 20k unique holders. Averaging close to 60k a day in volume. Most other collections are down fairly heavily this week.

Sphere marketplace integrated into Immutable zkEVM being one of the first marketplaces to be ready for collections.

Game of the Week

Ponchiqs has been quietly building adding strategic partnerships and are now close to play testing. Click the image to be invited to their discord and be ready for the first playtests to go live!

Final Word

What a start to 2024 for Immutable! Signing and announcing another 12 games this fortnight including what many are saying is the biggest game to secure in all of Crypto. Pixelmon!
